Dragon's Women's Hockey
The Green Bay Dragons is a non-profit organization promoting adult women's recreational hockey. The Green Bay Dragons are committed to providing a safe, affordable opportunity for all women in the Green Bay and surrounding areas to grow together while playing ice hockey. Participants of all skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome.
At the start of each season we reassess our teams based on the participants that we have for the year. For the 2024-25 season we had 3 teams participating in Divisions 3, 5 and 6 of the WCHL League. Along with opportunities in playing follow hockey teams in exhibitions games.
The Green Bay Dragons welcome women of ALL age(s)18+ and skill levels to play on our teams.

Practice Information:

- What to bring for practice: white & dark jersey (either black or navy blue), water, hockey gear
Hockey Season:
The regular hockey season runs from September/October through March. League regional playoffs usually run the last weekend in March or the bringing of April.
Team Practice/Skill sessions occur roughly once weekly on Sundays at the CCC.
WCHL League games are scheduled on weekends throughout the season and can occur at HOME (CCC) or AWAY.
Tournament games are scheduled sporadically based on availability.

Registering for the 2025-26 Season
All participants must be registered for USA Hockey. USA Hockey is an insurance policy that supplements your own insurance in the event you get hurt on the ice.
You will need to provide your USA Hockey # when registering for GB Dragons. https://membership.usahockey.com/ (This will be ~$57)

Remit payment
2025-26 Fee Options*
$325 per player with 2 volunteer slots (see definition below): before the end of 2025-26 hockey season
$350 if you choose not to volunteer
Goalie (discuss reduced fees with treasurer)
*$150 deposit prior to season start August 31, 2025, balance due by December 1, 2025 unless making arrangements with the Treasurer by December 15, 2025.
Note: plus any remaining balance from any previous hockey season
Volunteer definition: working the clocks & time sheets at hockey games, or donation of gift basket(s) for golf outing fundraiser on August 24, 2025.
