Power Skating

technical skating instruction for hockey players to develop speed, agility, balance & power

This program is designed to meet the needs of players who already have the basic skating skills to start working on all of the technical aspects of power skating:  stride, crossovers, turns and agility, backwards skating, etc......everything they need to become stronger, more efficient and faster in the game.

Players must have the basic skills necessary to keep up with the group:  backwards skating, starting and stopping, etc.  This is not an introductory learn to skate program.  They may achieve that by being evaluated on the first night they participate, based on the level of hockey they are currently playing at, or by moving up through the Cornerstone All Skate learn to skate program.
We reserve the right to refuse registration if the player does not have the necessary skills and is not ready for the program.

"Skating is a continuous journey. The best players in the world work on their skating and speed daily. If you want to play on the best teams and with the best players you have to build time into your day to work on your skating skills."
