Format

•   Teams will consist of strictly H.I.P. and Cross-Ice u-8 players.
•  Participating associations will play at the same time for travel and carpooling purposes. We will make the best effort to make sure that you do not play each other.
•   Teams will consist of at least 6 skaters and no more than 10.
• There is no limit to the number of teams from an association; we are capping this event at 72 teams.
• There is no fee to participate, however we are actively seeking sponsors.
•  18 teams will take the ice per hour.
• Games will be 10 minutes in length and teams will rotate in a clockwise rotation at the end of each game.  Five 10 minute games per hour per rink.
• Associations are expected to have at least 2 coaches on the ice per team.
• Coaches are asked to keep the games moving, no face-offs except to start the game. Please change your players on the fly.
• Teams will have one hour between sessions, you can expect to be at the rink for about 3 hours.
